The Graduate School of the University of Texas at Arlington was established in 1966. It is the focus of advanced studies and research in the University. A Graduate faculty of more than 400 makes the Graduate School an important influence in creating high standards for academic accomplishment and in achieving an intellectual environment of the highest quality for the University's community. 

There are nine different academic areas offering master's degrees in 73 disciplines or interdisciplinary programs and 35 doctoral degree programs. U.T. Arlington is a world-class institution attracting students all across the country and around the world. U.T. Arlington is the third largest of the 15 institutions in the University of Texas system.
