Virtual Orientation for New Students

Welcome to Graduate Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington!

All new graduate students should complete the Virtual Orientation before starting classes at UT Arlington. The Virtual Orientation is a journey through our web site that requires you stop at certain pages (see hotlinks below) and find information that will be helpful in your first semester. The “Orientation Roadmap” you will print out is your travel log on this journey. You are encouraged to spend extra time at those stops that are of particular interest to you.

NOTE: Acrobat Reader is required for viewing the forms, download Acrobat Reader for free.

   1. Print out the “Orientation Roadmap”.
   2. Place your "Orientation Roadmap" next to your computer and begin by
clicking on the first hotlink below entitled “Graduate Student Senate”.
   3. Record your answers to the orientation questions in the spaces provided
      on the form.

   4. Register your completion of the Virtual Orientation when you are
      finished.

Again, welcome to UT Arlington and best wishes on your journey.
